AP Engineering’s proofed Flash-Fluid Bed Blend & Dry Systems are designed for maximum efficiency. The heart of the system is a Blend Vessel with integrated flash and fluidization sections. It could be used for dynamic blending and storage or combined drying, heating or cooling of heat sensitive powder materials.

The product will be flashed from the bottom of the vessel to the top by a specially designed venturi. The vessel’s cone area is equipped with special fluidization sections to fluidize the lower bed and to recirculate the product through the flash venturi from the bottom to the top. Thus an agitation and blending occurs. The typical transfer media is air. Depending on the application, the air will be conditioned by heating, cooling and or dehumidifying. The temperature and humidity of air and the product will be controlled and monitored for a trouble free operation. A specially designed discharge nozzle secures the blend quality even on the lowest section of the vessel and provides a problem free discharge. An integrated dust collection system provides material recovery and dust free operation.

The equipment is available in various materials and capacities to satisfy the process requirements.
